Dyed eyelashes?

Has any one ever had or heard of getting their eyelashes dyed? I'm getting so blind I can hardly get mascara on with out needing majer touch ups. I already use a 8 power magnifing mirror:eek: It would be so nice to just get up and go.

dying eyelashes just intensfies the color, and eyelash extintions are just fake eyelashes that are make to stay on for weeks not hours. go you sally beauty for both items

Have you tried the eyelash dye? Wonder how long it lasts?

my friend Wendy works at a salon down here called Charmegnes [spelling hahaha] and they are getting this stuff in that you apply it to the top of your lash line where eyeliner would go and it lasts 5 months and it soaks into your eyelashes and makes them thicker and darker and fuller.

ask around for that. not sure what its called. ill try and find out :)

the eyelash tint, last a while, depends on the make-up removers you use, but not 5 months see you lose your eyelashes every 2 months or so, they slowly grow. stop growing, and fall out, that whole process for 1 single lash takes about 2 mo. but get is at sallys or go to a pro, b/c you can go blind if it gets in you eyes. also, if you go to a pro, make sure they use a tint FOR EYELASHES!! the tint for your hair is too strong for around the eyes.

IT MAY BE ILLEGAL IN YOU STATE, but not in MI, go to sallys, i kit comes in black, or brown, and it has 16 applications for like 30 bucks. it is a good deal. just please be careful if you do it yourself. and like i said at the salon, make sure its for the EYElashes ,and not just for the hair on you head!

I'm not too sure, I've seen advertisments for them around our area in Clearwater--- Next time i see it, I will write down the place & ph. number for you :D
My hairstylist they were gonna do it but "the technique hasn't been perfected yet. They don't wear well, they fall out easily, Not worth the price."

This thread is from quite a while ago, but I've had my eyelashes tinted a few times. You just go to an estethician and they will do it. I've never been worried about going blind at all. Estethicians at salons/spas are licensed/know what they are doing. Tinting just makes your eyelashes look darker. It's a dark black and it's a great alternative to putting on mascara every day if you just want a slightly more dramatic look and want them darker. I still used mascara if I wanted some extra emphasis and length. I'm not quite sure how long it lasted but it was at least a month and it wasn't expensive so it was a good investement.

I've never heard of eyelash tinting being illegal? Is that common at all in the States?

I have had them tinted. I LOVED the results!!!!!! I have very blond lashes. It was great. When I put mascara on them. Wow what a difference.
