that cardio prior to a workout helps to drop more lbs. this is false. you can warm up for 5 to 10 min on the treadmil but do your weight training first and then kick it off by doing cardio in the end. this will get your heart rate going and will give you the best results. so if you want to burn calories do it in this order.

Well..Truth is..as long as you jog, or run for 15 mins..it gets ur heart rate up and thats all you need to drop weight..

I'm running now and trying to do a couple squats after to increase muscle mass..will that work?

michelle thats considered a wormup in my eyes. then you work out then do an hr of jogging or hi speed walking. and thats a complete fat burning workout
