zits & toothpaste?

has anyone ever tried the whole ...put toothpaste on your zits at night and wake up and they will be gone thing? does it actually work?

It does work but the toothpaste must be a simple paste. The gels and stuff will not work.

Don't put it all over just dab it where you need it.

Ive tried it too, it kinda works. But dont put it NEAR your eyes, they will water for a while

The toothpaste has to be the white pastey stuff. I find that if I was my face then put the toothpaste on my zits at nite, when I wake up, they are prett cleared up. Sometimes, the toothpaste dries up the zits way too quickly (which isn't a bad thing) but it will scab up on me!

haha its funny u say that ive tried it.. it sorta works. wat brand of toothpaste are we suppost to be using. mine had like scope mouthwash in it .. i kinda burns lol

So does anyone know what brand should be used?
I know this sounds funny, but my aunt told me to use baby diaper rash cream......its called Desitin I think. Its supposed to be the same toothpaste concept......put it on at night and rinse in the morning. I haven'ttried it yet, but if you think about it, it might actually work.

Gosh I hate zits!!!! But I know the toothpaste thing kind of works.
